Llety Pant Teg B and B is a family run Bed and Breakfast set in the leafy village of Tregarth on the outskirts of Bangor between Bethesda and Llanberis . Next to Capel Shiloh Methodist church this 100 year old building has been the residence of many famous preachers—the most iconic being E Tegla Davies an author of many welsh books. More recently the house was the setting for the popular S4C television series Porc Peis Bach where the house was called Cranslow and the home of a ficticious preacher and family. Today the manse has been completely upgraded and tastefully renovated keeping many original features. The most striking feature is the original stonework which (strangely) has always been rendered in a stucco or pebble dashed finish. We decided to hack it back to the stone , sand blast and re-point which gives a timeless traditional look , which this fantastic building deserves. Home to Bryan Catrin Cerwyn and Elin and occasionally Ioan ( a well known young local climber )expect a home grown welsh family welcome. |
